Save The Date: December 1, 2020

What a year 2020 has been! As we all look forward to the holiday season, International Child Care is hard at work to provide much needed health care services to children and families in Haiti.

Despite the challenges 2020 has thrown at us, you came together as a community to support the families and children in Haiti that rely on Grace Children's Hospital for essential health care.

Together, you have raised over $50,000 through our Race for Grace annual fundraiser, and donated over 6,000 masks to help GCH as they work to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in their communities. Your efforts have made a huge impact on GCH staff and the patients they serve, and we cannot thank you enough.

But our fight to provide affordable, quality health care in Haiti is far from over.

As the holiday season begins, we ask you to support us as we participate in Giving Tuesday, an international day of charitable giving on December 1st.

When you donate, you will help children like Ronaldo receive life saving care regardless of their ability to pay. A 3 year old patient with a rapid heart condition and respiratory problems, Ronaldo had sought treatment in other hospitals but didn’t recover until visiting Grace Children’s Hospital.  

Ronaldo’s mother, Marleiene, shared that she was grateful that she only had to pay a small fee and that everything else was covered. This helped their family afford the excellent services that Grace provides.

“I might have lost my son,” she said. “But God provided this hospital.”
